Late summer has arrived, but the hot days are still continuing.
We have just received a new plate by Yoshimi Keiseki, so we displayed the table on the east side of the store with a Chinese image.
We have also arranged Shingo Oka's vases with burnet and shell ginger to create a space with a slight autumnal feel.
The use of bamboo mats instead of folding mats adds a casual touch and a sense of coolness.

Each of Keiseki Yoshimi's vessels has a kanji character written on it, so it is fun to hold the vessels in one's hands and see which character goes best with one's own. Each piece of pottery fired in a climbing kiln has a different expression, and the exquisite color variation on each plate makes it look very beautiful when you put food on it.

This dish can be used not only on the front side but also on the back side as a rimmed plate, so you can choose the side that best suits your mood or purpose.
