Shindo Kobo's pottery is now in stock.

They are a husband and wife team and have a studio in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture.

Seto City is famous for its pottery. The word “Setomono,” which is also a synonym for pottery, comes from “things made in Seto.

There is a chopstick rest with a karako lying on the floor, a karako bean square bowl with a cute little karako hanging from the rim, and a slightly unusual underglaze blue porcelain base plate and chopstick rest.

The paintings on the plates and chopstick rests are warm and inviting.
