Today marks the start of the year 2025 for AshiyaKittyoToya.
January 7 is “Jinjitsu-no-Sekku,” or the Doll's Day Festival, and some of you may be eating seven herbs porridge to heal your stomach and intestines from New Year's fatigue and to pray for good health and good fortune for the year ahead.
It is said that the origin of the seven herbs porridge dates back to the early Heian period, when the Emperor of Japan offered porridge containing seven kinds of young vegetables to the gods to pray for good health and good health.

On the main table on the west side of the restaurant, we have just arrived at the store, and we are matching an oval-shaped orihiki by Takao Togashi with antique and contemporary vessels.
The tableware with vermilion color makes it more colorful and makes us feel happy for the New Year.

In the flower vase on the table, “Ascending Dragon Pine” and gentle pink chrysanthemums are arranged.
As the name suggests, this “Ascending Dragon Pine” reminds us of a dragon ascending to the sky and gives us a sense of vitality.
