New Glass Vessels

Since yesterday, it has been the last Setsubun of winter, called “Daikan”.
The period from the previous 24th day of the lunar calendar, “Shokan” to Setsubun on February 2 is called “Kan no Uchi” which is the coldest season of the year.
This severe cold weather has been used for a long time for an event called “kanjikomi” (cold brewing).
Because the cold weather of “DaiKan” is suitable for fermentation and food preservation, fermented foods such as miso and amazake have been brewed.

Now, we are pleased to announce that studio iiro's (Kenta Ohigashi) katakuchi and guinomi, which we have been asking for since last summer, have arrived at our store,
We put them on Hiromi Urushiyama's tray. A cute cat figurine by Tasuku Mitsuji was placed next to them.
The bowl is decorated with bubbles of random sizes from the base to the waist and two-tone color from the mouth to the body.
Under the light, the two-tone color casts multiple layers of shadows, creating a beautiful bowl that makes you want to look at it for a long time.
The katakuchi can be used not only for sake, but also as a chakai , and the guinomi can be used as a tea cup or a small bowl.
